Hunter Doohan<\/strong> (\u201cWednesday\u201d), Luciane Buchanan<\/strong> (\u201cThe Night Agent\u201d), and Tandi Wright<\/strong> (Pearl) are set to star opposite Souheila Yacoub<\/strong> (Dune: Part Two) in Evil Dead Burn<\/strong>, Deadline<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

The sixth film in the beloved horror franchise will release in theaters on July 24, 2026<\/strong> via New Line and Warner Bros.<\/p>\n

S\u00e9bastien Vani\u010dek<\/strong> (Infested) directs from a script he co-wrote with Florent Bernard<\/strong> (Infested).<\/p>\n

Plot details have not been released, but Vani\u010dek recently said<\/a>, \u201cI told the studio that I wanted to make a nasty film, a film that hurts, from which you come away tested. I\u2019m going to put all the horror I have inside, it will be cathartic, and if I haven\u2019t ruined my career and I can continue to make films behind it, I will move on to something other than horror!\u201d<\/p>\n

Evil Dead creator Sam Raimi<\/strong> and franchise producer Rob Tapert<\/strong> will produce via their Ghost House Pictures. Evil Dead star Bruce Campbell<\/strong> and Evil Dead Rise filmmaker Lee Cronin<\/strong> executive produce alongside Romel Adam and Jose Canas, both of whom worked on Evil Dead Rise.<\/p>\n

Another new Evil Dead movie is also in early development from writer-director Francis Galluppi<\/strong> (The Last Stop in Yuma County).<\/p>\n
