He\u2019s been the hot favourite to take over as James Bond<\/a> for a while now, but has Aaron Taylor-Johnson<\/a> just dropped the biggest hint yet?<\/p>\n The Hollywood star, 34, has been backed by the bookies<\/a> to star as 007 after Daniel Craig<\/a>, 57, bowed out in 2021\u2019s No Time to Die<\/a>.<\/p>\n Other names to have floated around include Idris Elba<\/a>, Theo James<\/a>, Jack Lowden<\/a>, and Stephen Graham<\/a>, with James actually the new frontrunner<\/a> following his latest underwear campaign.<\/p>\n However, Godzilla star Taylor-Johnson is giving him a run for his money with what fans are convinced is confirmation<\/a> of his signing.<\/p>\n Taylor-Johnson has inked a deal with Omega, the watch brand that has long been providing accessories for the Bond franchise.<\/p>\n Since 1995\u2019s GoldenEye, Omega watches have been seen on Bond\u2019s wrist, and now Taylor-Johnson\u2019s partnership has caught people\u2019s attention as somewhat of an Easter egg.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t \t\t Pierce Brosnan was the first Bond lead to wear an Omega watch, with the ambassadorship still going strong 30 years later, as Craig sported the brand\u2019s Seamaster watch during his last outing.<\/p>\n After signing his own deal, Taylor-Johnson said: \u2018I have always had an appreciation for timepieces, but especially for Omega.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2018Now, after visiting the factory, I am in awe of the skill required to manufacture such a luxurious product.\u2019<\/p>\n Omega\u2019s CEO also heaped praise on him, branding Taylor-Johnson a \u2018versatile actor with a range that covers action, thriller, romance, and much more\u2019.<\/p>\n That sounds like the perfect description of a James Bond actor if ever we heard one\u2026<\/p>\n And we aren\u2019t the only ones thinking it as, after Taylor-Johnson\u2019s new deal went public, fans took to Omega\u2019s Instagram comments in force.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t \t\t \u2018Do I hear the 007 theme? \ud83d\ude09\ud83c\udf78\u2019, teased @watchbie.<\/p>\n \u2018Bro has to be the new James Bond at this point\u2019, declared @julianheusschen.<\/p>\n \u2018Hello Mr. Bond, we have been expecting you\u2019, wrote @thatonebondguy.<\/p>\n \u2018The biggest clue yet that he\u2019s going to be James Bond\u2019, added @charliesansom.<\/p>\n When previously quizzed on the speculation that he\u2019s set to play the secret agent, Taylor-Johnson played coy.<\/p>\n Speaking to Rolling Stone UK in March 2024, the\u00a0Bullet Train\u00a0star began: \u2018I can only really talk about the things I\u2019m going to show and tell. So,\u00a0The Fall Guy,\u00a0Nosferatu,\u00a0Kraven the Hunter\u2026 I\u2019m here to promote those.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t\t\tWho could be the next James Bond?
