<\/p>\n Meghan Markle’s relationship with the royal family soured long before her exit from the Firm. The Duchess of Sussex has also reportedly \u2018outgrown\u2019 her old friends,<\/a> finding a new social circle and rebranding herself post-royal life. Weighing in on the same, royal expert Hugo Vickers opined that Markle \u2018dumped\u2019 the royal family, just as she did to her old friends, when things didn\u2019t go her way.<\/p>\n Article continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Vickers’ comment came after reports emerged that Markle dropped her best pal, Edward Enninful, after an argument over her Vogue cover. Vickers told The Sun,<\/a> \u201cThere is a theme which runs through all this, which is that she’s always rejecting people. Her father, for one, who was very good to her when she was growing up, her first husband gets dumped, her Canadian chef lover in Canada, dumped as well.\u201d The expert noted a pattern and continued, \u201cJessica Mulroney, her [Markle’s] great friend in Canada, dumped the entire British Royal family, and apart from her mother, all her own family.\u201d He hence dubbed the fallout with Enninful a ‘normal theme.’<\/p>\n Article continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Vickers also believes that the Duchess seems to overreact when situations don’t unfold in her favor. He argued, \u201cShe’s very demanding\u2026She has her ideas of what she wants to do, and she doesn’t seem to want to listen to anybody else, and that’s when you get into trouble.\u201d Vickers further opined that part of Markle\u2019s troubles stems from the fact that everything \u201cis always focused on her.\u201d To cite an example, he mentioned her Mother\u2019s Day post <\/a>in which she praised herself and failed to mention her own mom, Doria Ragland. He added, \u201cI really feel sorry for those children, and I wonder what sort of what they’re going to think when they grow up.\u201d<\/p>\n Article continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The Duchess of Sussex reportedly cut ties with Enninful in 2022 over a feature. The editor allegedly wanted to showcase Markle\u2019s keynote speech at the One Young World Summit in Manchester, without giving her a front cover. The arrangement made her axe their professional agreement and friendship. After their fallout, Enninful became a trustee for The King’s Fund, King Charles’s charity. According to the Daily Mail,<\/a> a source spilled, \u201cThe Duchess and her team had high expectations and were expecting she might get a print cover or at least a digital cover out of it, but Enninful was not able to meet those expectations.\u201d<\/p>\n Article continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Coming back to the royal family, insiders claim that there may be another reason why the Duchess dumped her in-laws. A royal source told The Sun<\/a>, \u201cThe assumption is if you marry a Prince of England, then you end up with a private jet and the lifestyle she craves.
