Prince William has decided to carry on his late mom Princess Diana\u2019s legacy with modern royal approach as he forges new rules for monarchy.<\/p>\n
According to a new report, the Prince of Wales is expected to diverge from his father King Charles’s approach after taking over the throne from him. <\/p>\n
Life & Style reported that one of the signs that he has different agenda in mind regarding ruling the monarchy was his decision to celebrate Easter with his wife Kate Middleton\u2019s family.<\/p>\n
\u201cCelebrating Easter with the Middletons is a sign William is going his own way,\u201d the source said. \u201cHe has made it no secret that he intends to do things differently when he\u2019s king.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe wants less pomp and circumstance,\u201d the publication noted. <\/p>\n
Following in the former Princess of Wales\u2019 lead, the Prince aims to be \u201cmore approachable as a monarch,\u201d the source noted. <\/p>\n
\u201cForget that he went to church with his in-laws \u2014 William visited a common pub with Carole last year while Kate was undergoing cancer treatments,\u201d added the insider. <\/p>\n

William plans to continue doing philanthropic work that will make a difference in the world, and he wants to engage directly with the public and be relatable to his generation. If that means breaking from some traditions, so be it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Despite William\u2019s different approach, the cancer-stricken monarch still thinks he will make an \u201cexcellent king.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt must bother him a little that his son prefers spending time with Kate\u2019s side of the family \u2014 who are seemingly less stuffy and set in their ways \u2014 but Charles thinks William will make an excellent king,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n
