The band, Queen, is extremely popular for creating incredibly wonderful songs such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Don’t Stop Me Now, Under Pressure and We Will Rock You.

Contrary to popular belief, Brian’s favourite Queen song is not Bohemian Rhapsody. Penned by Queen’s iconic frontman, Freddie Mercury, the song unfolds as a six-minute suite, distinguished by its absence of a recurring chorus. It seamlessly transitions through multiple sections, including an intro, a ballad sequence, an operatic interlude, a hard rock segment, and a reflective coda.

The song stands as one of the few progressive rock tracks of the 1970s that successfully resonated with a mainstream audience.

However, in an interview, the famous songwriter revealed his favourite Queen song and the heartwarming reason behind it.

He said: “I am going to pick a song that not everyone out there knows called The Miracle, which Freddie wrote and which I always thought has a weird and unique magic.

“Especially since Freddie wrote it at a time when it was very difficult for him to be optimistic and he was. It’s just very beautiful and I go for that.”

“The Miracle” is the fifth and last single from Queen’s 1989 studio album of the same name. While the entire band contributed to its composition, Freddie Mercury and John Deacon were the primary songwriters. Released on November 27, 1989, it marked Queen’s final single of the decade.

The song originated from Freddie Mercury and John Deacon, who crafted its core chord structure. However, all four band members contributed lyrics and musical ideas.

Despite this, the track was credited to the entire band, following their agreement during the album’s recording process, regardless of individual authorship.

Brian May, the guitarist of the world’s most successful band, Queen, has revealed his favourite song from the…

[3936
55407,13256,13254,55408,55409,24329,55410,77,269,13257,16,15
0":"post-124777","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-music","8":"tag-adam-lambert","9":"tag-bohemian-rhapsody","10":"tag-brian-may","11":"tag-brian-may-favourite-queen-song","12":"tag-brian-may-favourite-song","13":"tag-brian-may-latest","14":"tag-brian-may-latest-favourite-song","15":"tag-entertainment","16":"tag-music","17":"tag-queen-and-adam-lambert","18":"tag-uk","19":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
