With its PURO Hotel in Warsaw, the architects<\/strong><\/a> at GamFratesi take design cues from Scandinavian traditions of quality and craft. Wooden floors by Dinesen<\/strong><\/a> stretch across interiors that feature custom furnishings, travertine finishes, and bespoke lighting. Every surface and element \u2014 whether a softly curved chair or a precisely paneled wall \u2014 was selected to age gracefully, and to contribute to the atmosphere rather than command it. The humble materials speak with intention and evoking a domestic calm.<\/p>\n
