An historic Bristol shopping centre has gone on the market.<\/p>\n

Situated in one of Bristol’s most upmarket areas, Clifton Village, the shopping complex is being sold for \u00a34.6 million.<\/p>\n

The grade II-listed Victorian Clifton Arcade, advertised for sale on Rightmove in the past week, was last brought to market in 2020, with a guide price of \u00a34.5 million.<\/p>\n

And now potential buyers have been given another opportunity to get their hands on the historic building, which comes complete with two shop\/cafe premises fronting Boyce\u2019s Avenue.<\/p>\n

As well as 16 speciality independent occupiers on the ground floor, plus a vibrant mix of a further 17 boutique studios at first and second floors.<\/p>\n

The arcade also produces a tempting ‘day-one net income’ of \u00a3420,924 per year, including vendor top up.<\/p>\n

Clifton Arcade is steeped in history. It was originally known as Kings Clifton Bazaar and Winter Garden and first opened in 1878.<\/p>\n

The impressive development was built by Joseph King, a self-taught architect, entrepreneur and builder.<\/p>\n

Property agent Hartnell Taylor Cook says: “The Clifton Arcade is a beautifully restored Victorian gem and home to a vibrant mix of independent boutiques and artisan markers. Its glass roofed charm and creative community is a real discovery<\/p>\n

“The Arcade has been owned and run by the current owners for over 30 years and as a result there are a number of efficiencies and improvements which can be made.<\/p>\n

“These initiatives will enhance what is already a unique building. The Arcade is Clifton<\/a> \u2019s only option to start or develop small business activities on a flexible basis but in a stimulating incubator hub.”<\/p>\n
