Fans attending Oasis’ reunion tour shows at Heaton Park this July have been sent an urgent warning from organisers.<\/p>\n

Liam and Noel Gallagher confirmed last August that they would reunite after a 16-year hiatus for Oasis Live ’25<\/a>. They’ll play a series of huge stadium and outdoor shows in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Dublin and Edinburgh, before embarking on a run of shows across the globe.<\/p>\n

It’s now only 42 days until the tour gets underway in Cardiff, and many fans will be starting to make travel arrangements for the shows. For those going to the Heaton Park<\/a> shows between July 11 and July 20, organisers have now sent an email with instructions for gig-goers.<\/p>\n

The email from The Safety Advisory Group for the Heaton Park explains that the park, which has a capacity of 80,000, has been divided into two concert areas – a general admission area and front standing – each with their own dedicated ticket and entry gate issued in advance.<\/p>\n

The email says this is to “ensure fan safety and improve the fan experience whilst entering the site”.<\/p>\n

It then explains that “all general admission ticketholders are being given the opportunity” to opt in to gain access to the front standing area.<\/p>\n

However, If the number of opt-in requests exceeds availability, tickets will be allocated at random from the pool of applicants.<\/p>\n

Fans are being urged to click the link in their emails if they wish to opt in and want to request tickets in the front standing area.<\/p>\n

The opt in link is valid and open now (May 23) until noon next Friday, May 30.<\/p>\n

It adds: “Once the opt in window closes, you’ll receive a follow-up notification no later than 20th June confirming your allocated area and gate entry information.<\/p>\n

“Please note that opting in applies to your whole order (you can’t split up tickets).<\/p>\n

“If you’re happy to stay in the general admission area, you don’t need to do anything.”<\/p>\n

The Event Organisers also used the opportunity to share more information on travel, so you can start to plan your journey to and from the venue.<\/p>\n

It then went into details about their official partner, Big Green Coach, which will transport fans between Heaton Park and numerous locations across the UK.<\/p>\n

There will also be limited capacity on the shuttle buses to and from city centre and Heaton Park and tickets are expected to sell out very quickly.<\/p>\n

Buses will depart from Manchester’s Northern Quarter<\/a> and will drop gig-goers within Heaton Park and the dedicated Bus Depot.<\/p>\n

At the end of the night, they will be able to join the queue for a return bus if you have the shuttle bus wristband.<\/p>\n

Whilst the queue operation will move continuously, it is expected to be a lengthy process but once on the bus punters will be returned to Manchester’s Northern Quarter.<\/p>\n

There will be also be a signposted, well-lit and well populated walking route from Exchange Square\/Victoria Station\/AO Arena up a straight road to Heaton Park.<\/p>\n

The walk is approximately 50 mins (probably longer at the end of the night) and there will be numerous service points on the route including food, drink and rest areas.<\/p>\n
