Therefore, I am recommending a straight 50% tariff on the European Union, starting on June 1, 2025. There is no tariff if the product is built or manufactured in the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As the EU braces for economic turbulence, many in the UK took to social media to highlight what they see as a tangible <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/definition\/brexit\" rel=\"noopener\">Brexit<\/a> dividend: exemption from Trump\u2019s latest trade crackdown.<br \/>One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, \u201cAnyone want a Brexit benefit? Trump is going to impose a 50% tariff on all <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/eu-exports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EU exports<\/a> to the US, from June 1st. While the UK will still face a baseline 10% tariff\u2014also levied on other non-EU countries\u2014tariffs on British vehicles exported to the U.S. will drop from 25% to 10%.<\/p>\n<p>The UK officially left the European Union on January 31, 2020.
