Avengers: Doomsday is currently shooting in the UK, and the set we’ve been keeping you updated about for the past few weeks is finally complete.<\/p>\n
As you can see, it appears to be the grounds of the X-Mansion in the wake of an epic superhero fight that’s left Sentinel pieces strewn across the battlefield. Massive blue screens surround the practical set, as do shipping containers meant to keep the action\u00a0away from prying eyes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, now we can see the entire thing, that strange metal construction on the bottom right-hand side has left us wondering if all is not quite as it seems.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Our theory is that this is the Danger Room; how better to introduce the returning X-Men than in an epic Sentinel battle that’s been pulled straight from the pages of the comics? It’s been a while, so establishing them as a formidable challenge for the Avengers and Fantastic Four when the teams inevitably\u00a0clash is a must.\u00a0<\/p>\n
We’ll have to wait and see, but chances are drones like this one won’t be able to get anywhere near the Avengers: Doomsday set when cameras are rolling. Then again, that didn’t stop this leaker from providing us with a blurry first look at the Woman of Tomorrow in\u00a0Supergirl<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Rumour has it the X-Men in this movie will don comic-accurate costumes not unlike those seen in X-Men ’97 and Deadpool & Wolverine.<\/p>\n Talking about his possible role in Avengers: Doomsday, Hugh Jackman said this week, “I really can\u2019t say much, except when you say ‘appear,’\u00a0more like dominate and destroy every other character\u2014I\u2019m kidding. I really have nothing to add, and if I did, I would find a really cool way to not say it, but I actually have nothing to add.”<\/strong><\/p>\n Avengers: Doomsday\u00a0stars Chris Hemsworth,\u00a0Anthony Mackie,\u00a0Winston Duke,\u00a0Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, and\u00a0Robert Downey Jr.\u00a0Wyatt Russell,\u00a0Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejia,\u00a0Florence Pugh,\u00a0Danny Ramirez,\u00a0David Harbour,\u00a0Hannah John-Kamen,\u00a0and\u00a0Lewis Pullman all make the\u00a0Avengers\u00a0franchise debuts in the movie.\u00a0<\/p>\n So do\u00a0The Fantastic Four: First Steps\u00a0leads Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and\u00a0Joseph Quinn, with\u00a0X-Men\u00a0franchise stars Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, and\u00a0Channing Tatum set to join them.<\/p>\n Avengers: Doomsday\u00a0is set to be released on\u00a0May 1 2026, with\u00a0Avengers: Secret Wars\u00a0scheduled\u00a0to arrive on\u00a0May 7, 2027.
