Andreeva\u2019s head-to-head record<\/p>\n<p>The Russian did, however, secure victory at last year\u2019s French Open, when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/chris-evert-explains-what-she-found-so-uncomfortable-about-watching-aryna-sabalenka-against-mirra-andreeva-at-the-french-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Andreeva took down Sabalenka<\/a> to advance to the last four.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Only time will tell if we\u2019ll see a rematch at this year\u2019s tournament, but it\u2019ll certainly be something to look out for.<\/p>\n<p>Mirra Andreeva and Aryna Sabalenka\u2019s 2025 French Open draws<\/p>\n<p>The pair have been drawn on opposite sides of the Roland Garros bracket, as they look to make their presence felt in the French capital.<\/p>\n<p>Andreeva, entering the event as the number six seed, will likely be pleased with her projected route through to the final, as a second href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/paula-badosa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Paula Badosa<\/a>, although it would be a bold assumption to suggest the Spaniard will get that far, considering her recent injury struggles.<\/p>\n<p>Badosa has won just one match since March (via walkover), and last qualified for the fourth round in Paris in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>A quarterfinal clash with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/jessica-pegula\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jessica Pegula<\/a> could then be on the cards, who herself has struggled for form on clay.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/jessica-pegula-plans-to-do-something-different-when-she-returns-to-action-after-winning-the-charleston-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pegula won the Charleston Open<\/a> to kick off her clay-court season in perfect fashion, but has a 3-4 record on the surface since.<\/p>\n<p>Coco Gauff may then stand between href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/zheng-qinwen-reveals-the-tactical-change-she-made-when-facing-aryna-sabalenka-which-helped-to-beat-her-for-the-first-time-at-the-italian-open\/\" confidence, in a bid to set up an enticing semi-final match with her biggest rival, Iga Swiatek.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/iga-swiatek\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Swiatek<\/a> will travel to Paris as the three-time defending champion, but has been far from her best in 2025, and has yet to win a title this season.<\/p>\n<p>However, looking at their head-to-head record, you\u2019d be brave to bet against Swiatek securing a ninth win against Sabalenka should they face off for a place in the
