As we head into a bank holiday weekend which is immediately followed by half term, lots of motorists up and down the country will be getting into their cars and hitting the road for a short summer getaway.<\/p>\n

With around 20 million journeys expected to be made during each day of the late May Bank Holiday, the AA has issued an amber traffic warning<\/a> to alert drivers to expect extra congestion.<\/p>\n

A new survey<\/a> carried out by the breakdown service provider estimates that more than 20 million journeys will be made on Friday 23 May, over 19.5 million on Saturday 24 May and just shy of that figure on Sunday 25 May and Monday 26 May.<\/p>\n

Some 3.5 million have indicated to the AA that they are planning to take a long weekend break away from home, either with family or friends.<\/p>\n

Bury<\/a> – cheapest fuel this week is 125.7p and that’s at the Asda in Riverside Retail Park, Radcliffe<\/a> West.<\/p>\n

Salford<\/a> – cheapest fuel this week is 125.9p and that’s at the Morrisons on Swinton<\/a> Hall Road in Swinton.<\/p>\n

Rochdale<\/a> – cheapest fuel this week is 124.7p and that’s at the Asda at the Old Cricket Ground in Spotland & Falinge.<\/p>\n

Oldham<\/a> – cheapest fuel this week is 124.7p and that’s at the Morrisons on Oldham Road in Failsworth<\/a> West.<\/p>\n

Tameside<\/a> – cheapest fuel this week is 124.7p and that’s at Morrisons on Foundry Street at Dukinfield.<\/p>\n

Stockport<\/a> – cheapest fuel this week is 126.7p and that’s at the Morrisons on Edgeley Road in Cheadle<\/a>.<\/p>\n
