Since then, he has scaled back on royal duties, leaning on Prince William, Queen Camilla, and Prince Edward for support. Though he’s made appearances at major royal events, an insider claimed his health is far from improving. They revealed the monarch has refused chemotherapy and is looking to meet Prince Harry.

Article continues below advertisement

Despite Harry’s bombshell interview with the BBC earlier this month, Charles allegedly plans to see him during his upcoming Canada visit. A source dished to News Nation that while Harry’s remarks were “unforgivable, as health matters are sacrosanct,” he was right to be worried about his father. They said, “Charles is indeed a sick man, and he does have cancer. He also refused chemotherapy and decided on a less invasive treatment. While Harry and his dad aren’t speaking, Harry would be aware of all of this via back channels.” Harry, in his BBC interview, had said, “Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has, he won’t speak to me because of this security stuff. It would be nice to reconcile.”

Article continues below advertisement

Charles will be in Canada on May 26-27 to open the Canadian parliament. As reported by The New York Times, Collis dished, “He was asking me about the treatment I have started in June and spoke to me about food and diet.
