A dedicated \u2018Rucking Activity\u2019 profile now allows users to track weighted hikes, manually inputting pack weight to ensure <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wareable.com\/garmin\/how-to-view-garmin-vo2-max-estimate-watch-connect\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">metrics like VO2 max<\/a> aren\u2019t skewed by the extra load. This \u2018Pack Weight\u2019 input can also be added to other activities like running and hiking. <\/p>\n<p>Security also gets a bump with an optional passcode to protect your on-watch data, complete with automatic wrist detection for re-access. For sleep-tracking aficionados, a new \u2018Breathing Variations\u2019 feature leverages <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wareable.com\/garmin\/garmin-pulse-ox-blood-oxygen-spo2-explained\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pulse Ox data<\/a> during nighttime rest to provide insights into breathing pattern shifts. And in a nod to a very specific user base, competitive marksmen get a \u2018Stage Timer\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>But the real strategic play lies in the new premium features for subscribers, including an all-new \u2018Garmin Trails\u2019 feature for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wareable.com\/garmin\/garmin-connect-plus-announced-details-price\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Connect+<\/a> users. <\/p>\n<p>The new service is similar to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wareable.com\/garmin\/how-to-connect-garmin-and-strava\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Strava Routes<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wareable.com\/garmin\/how-to-sync-komoot-tours-routes-garmin-watch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Komoot Tours<\/a> (which also offer paid-for features), though it exists entirely within the Garmin ecosystem. It offers detailed filtering (dog-friendliness, waterfalls, steepness) and trail data accessible via the Explore or Connect apps.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Venu 3 users can now unlock high-end golfing features previously reserved for premium Approach watches, but only via a Garmin Golf Membership ($9.99\/month or $99.99\/year). This grants access to full-color CourseView maps, PlaysLike distance, and Green Contours.<\/p>\n<p>\n        Advertisement    <\/p>\n<p>The update is rolling out now.
