A recent study held by Online Marketing Surgery and BLG Development Finance has revealed the 10 West Midlands<\/a> areas that has seen the biggest increase in property values.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The ‘House Price Change Report<\/a>‘ uses data provided by the Office of National Statistics<\/a> (ONS) to help rank neighbourhoods<\/a> in the West Midlands by the percentage of change per house in September 2023 to September 2024.<\/p>\n

The list helps not only helps to give a snapshot of the potential house prices for different areas, but also the neighbourhoods that are the most desirable for future homeowners overall.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"WalsallWalsall North East is among the areas that saw the sharpest increases in house prices<\/p>\n

Figures are often affected by closeness to schools and local amenities, house sizes and brackets, surrounding green land, and crime rate and frequency.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Listed are the top ten regions in the West Midlands that saw the sharpest price increase between September 2023 and September 2024:<\/p>\n

1. Walsall North East<\/strong>, located in the borough of Walsall<\/a>, had an average property price increase from \u00a3175,000 to \u00a3273,500, marking a 56.3% rise.<\/p>\n

2. Smethwick East<\/strong>, in the borough of Sandwell<\/a>, saw prices rise from \u00a3150,000 to \u00a3190,000, an increase of 26.7%.<\/p>\n

\"SmethwickSmethwick East included in the list as the second area to experience the highest spike <\/p>\n

3. Park Lane<\/strong>, within Wolverhampton<\/a>, experienced an increase from \u00a3131,000 to \u00a3165,000, which is a 26.0% growth.<\/p>\n

4. Metchley<\/strong>, part of Birmingham, had property values go up from \u00a3226,000 to \u00a3280,000, reflecting a 23.9% increase.<\/p>\n

5. Stechford<\/strong>, also in Birmingham, witnessed an increase from \u00a3193,000 to \u00a3237,500, a 23.1% rise.<\/p>\n

6. Coseley Wallbrook<\/strong>, situated in Dudley<\/a>, saw prices rise from \u00a3187,475 to \u00a3226,000, amounting to a 20.5% increase.<\/p>\n

7. Handsworth South<\/strong>, another area in Birmingham, went from \u00a3162,000 to \u00a3195,000, a 20.4% increase.<\/p>\n

8. Walsall Wood<\/strong>, located in Walsall, had prices grow from \u00a3200,000 to \u00a3240,000, resulting in a 20.0% rise.<\/p>\n
