The <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/albert-dock\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Albert Dock<\/a> is set to welcome Queen Anne back to her spiritual home for the first time since her spectacular naming ceremony at the Pier Head.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The return to the<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-pier-head\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> River Mersey<\/a> on Bank Holiday Monday, May 26, marks the start of global celebrations across the Cunard fleet to celebrate this year\u2019s 185th Anniversary of the line\u2019s first transatlantic crossing leaving Liverpool in 1840.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Her arrival is expected to attract huge crowds to vantage points on both sides of the river as Liverpool prepares to host the LFC<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/barclays-premier-league\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> Premier League<\/a> Champions Parade later that day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The ship is due alongside at Cruise Port Liverpool by midday, where she will form a magnificent backdrop to the parade celebrations when the Reds\u2019 motorcade reaches the waterfront.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/1748072290_583_2_The-Naming-Ceremony-for-Cunards-newest-shipQueen-Anneat-the-Pier-HeadLiverpoolPic-Andrew-Teeba.jpg\" alt=\"Fireworks as Cunard's Queen Anne sailed from Liverpool last year\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Fireworks as Cunard&#8217;s Queen Anne sailed from Liverpool last year(Image: Andrew Teebay Liverpool Echo)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Queen Anne is expected at the following points and times as she advances towards the berth on Monday, May 26th:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"UnorderedList_unordered-list__gzblI\">\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 ENBBt\">Mersey Bar: 0915<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 ENBBt\">Formby: 0945<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 ENBBt\">Crosby: 1015<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 ENBBt\">New Brighton: 1045<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 ENBBt\">Seacombe: 1100<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 ENBBt\">Cruise Port: 1200<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Queen Anne\u2019s return to the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/river-mersey\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">River Mersey<\/a> marks the start of the global celebrations stretching right across the Cunard fleet in line with the 185th anniversary of the line\u2019s first transatlantic crossing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The ship, dedicated to the city of Liverpool last June, remains alongside overnight. Picture date: Monday June 3, 2024\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Cunard&#8217;s Queen Anne leaves the Cruise Terminal on the River Mersey, Liverpool(Image: Peter Byrne\/PA Wire)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">After this, a Sea of Glamour photographic exhibition curated by photographer and film-maker Mary McCartney will open at the Royal Liver Building.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The exhibition features 185 images charting the Cunard timeline and some of the many milestones in its unique maritime history and bond with the city of Liverpool.
