Prince Harry ‘complicates’ path of healing with King Charles, Prince William<\/p>\n
Prince Harry has publicly offered an olive branch to his estranged father King Charles, brother Prince William and other senior members of the royal family.<\/p>\n
In an interview with BBC recently, Prince Harry said, “I can’t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point.”<\/p>\n
“There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family,” he added, but had now “forgiven” them.<\/p>\n
“I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious,” said Archie and Lilibet father, who said the dispute over his security had “always been the sticking point”.<\/p>\n
However, conflict expert Julie Cobalt believes Harry\u2019s choices may have widened the divide.<\/p>\n
The expert warned Prince Harry that involving the public rarely leads to resolution. “If your goal is healing, involving the public complicates the path.”<\/p>\n
She continued, “You also risk misinterpretation. Photos, headlines, or quotes taken out of context can inflame things further.” <\/p>\n
Julie went on saying, “Publicly criticising your family, especially in a memoir, virtually guarantees defensiveness and further distance.”<\/p>\n
“It also strips you of control over how your message is received.” <\/p>\n
She also advised the duke that the path to healing should be private and supported: “If Harry’s goal was reconciliation, a better strategy would have been to work with a conflict coach or mediator.<\/p>\n
“Reconnection requires honest conversation, not public narration.”<\/p>\n
