For the first time in 2025, Alex Marquez claimed victory in a MotoGP Sprint Race as he dominated at Silverstone.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alex Marquez was able to end his older brother’s run of six successive Sprint Race victories as he claimed victory at Silverstone by 3.511 seconds for the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP team.<\/p>\n

Marc Marquez had to watch on as his brother left him behind in the Sprint Race. The factory Ducati rider finished in second place in the 10-lap sprint.<\/p>\n

Fabio di Giannantonio featured on the Sprint podium for the first time this season as he finished in third place on the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Ducati.<\/p>\n

Marco Bezzecchi had a shocking start to the Sprint and dropped back to 19th place, but he battled his way back through the order and finished in fourth.<\/p>\n

Johann Zarco and the LCR Honda Castrol squad had a successful Saturday at Silverstone as they finished fifth in the Sprint Race.<\/p>\n

A front row start was not enough for Francesco Bagnaia in the Sprint, the two-time MotoGP Champion crossed the line in sixth place.<\/p>\n

Fabio Quartararo had a similar race to Bagnaia, after starting from pole position, he gradually faded back through the order until he finished in seventh.<\/p>\n

All manufacturers featured inside the points as Pedro Acosta took the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team to an eighth-place finish.<\/p>\n

Completing the points scoring positions was Jack Miller on the Prima Pramac Racing Yamaha in ninth.<\/p>\n
