Emergency services descended on Fallowfield<\/a> after a suspected drug driver ploughed into a hedge.<\/p>\n

Images show a silver Volkswagen Passat CC which crashed into a hedge near to houses on Platt Lane this morning (May 24).<\/p>\n

Police and paramedics were called out to the scene shortly after 10.30am.<\/p>\n

The Manchester Evening News understands that the Volkswagen driver, a 34-year-old man, was the only person involved in the collision.<\/p>\n

It’s understood he was treated for minor injuries at the scene by ambulance crew.<\/p>\n

The driver was arrested by officers at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.<\/p>\n

A GMP spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of an RTC on Platt Lane just after 10.30am.<\/p>\n
