\n\tHayley Atwell<\/a> had an unseen costar during a fight scene in \u201cMission: Impossible \u2013 The Final Reckoning.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring a recent appearance on \u201cThe Tonight Show<\/a>,\u201d Atwell revealed she was more than eight months pregnant while filming reshoots of a fight scene in \u201cFinal Reckoning,\u201d but still managed to do all her own stunts.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDuring this fight sequence, we came back to it a few times to add a few elements to it,\u201d she said as host Jimmy Fallon introduced a preview of the scene. \u201cAnd in this clip, I\u2019m actually eight and a half months pregnant.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe continued, \u201cI\u2019m serious. Yes. And I have to say, I was taken such good care of. Everyone was so supportive and they were like, \u2018Oh, you can sit down, and we\u2019ll have a stunt double do it.\u2019 And I was like, \u2018No! I\u2019ve worked too hard. Let me do it.\u2019 So I did it, and here it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAtwell, who plays a thief named Grace who joins forces with the IMF, stars in \u201cFinal Reckoning\u201d alongside Tom Cruise<\/a>, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Esai Morales, Angela Bassett, Pom Klementieff, Henry Czerny, Nick Offerman and Hannah Waddingham. The film is in theaters now.<\/p>\n

\n\tAtwell isn\u2019t the only one who had to push their physical limits for the final \u201cMission: Impossible.\u201d Franchise frontman Cruise recently shared that while shooting an extended underwater sequence in the film, he was unable to see<\/a> because of the aquatic lights.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cA lot of times I cannot see because of the reflection of the light,\u201d Cruise explained. \u201cSo, I would go in, kind of blind, spend a lot of time on the set figuring out [the movement] as we\u2019re figuring out the shots. Then, when I\u2019m doing it, I have a hard time. Plus the suit, when it\u2019s wet, increases in weight by about 125 pounds. So, the kind of workouts and things that I have to do just to prepare for these things, it\u2019s years of development.
