Officers fear a missing teenage boy may be hundreds of miles from his home near Stockport<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cheshire Police says Joshua Myers was last seen on Thursday evening (May 22).<\/p>\n

The 16-year-old from Handforth, between Cheadle<\/a> and Wilmslow<\/a>, is known to have links to Manchester city centre<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But police believe he may have travelled more than 200 miles by train to the Devon and Cornwall area.<\/p>\n

Joshua was last seen on Delamere Road, in Handforth, at around 7.30pm on Thursday.<\/p>\n

He is described as being white, around 5ft 7ins tall and of slim build, with light brown hair and blue eyes.<\/p>\n

At the time of his disappearance, he was believed to be wearing black shorts and trainers, and a black hooded jacket.<\/p>\n

Duty Inspector Ash Sayer, of Cheshire Police, said: “We have been conducting enquiries to locate Joshua since he was reported missing, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.<\/p>\n

“We would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen Joshua since he went missing to get in touch with us.<\/p>\n

“The same goes for anyone who has any information on his whereabouts or any CCTV, video doorbell or dashcam footage of him since he was last seen.”<\/p>\n
