The platform is optimized for demanding industrial environments, with real-time alarm management, scalable data storage, and enhanced security.<\/p>\n

Key new features include Edge Alarm Service, Edge Historian Service, a Python SDK, PostgreSQL as the default database, time-based scheduling, and improved access control. Edge Central 4.0 aligns with EdgeX Foundry\u2019s open-source standards, ensuring interoperability and flexibility for industrial applications.<\/p>\n
