A crowd gathered in the street after a car ploughed into the side of a vape shop in Manchester’s student heartland.<\/p>\n

Emergency services descended on Wilmslow<\/a> Road, in Fallowfield<\/a>, at around 12.30am this morning (May 25).<\/p>\n

Images from the scene show a black bar had crashed into the side of the Fallowfield Vape\/Mobile shop.<\/p>\n

Dozens of people were seen gathered in the street in the moments following the crash.<\/p>\n

Greater Manchester Police<\/a> confirmed it was called out to a collision involving one vehicle hitting a shop on Wilmslow Road.<\/p>\n

One male casualty, who is understood to have been a passenger in the car, was taken to hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, GMP says.<\/p>\n

The driver, a man whose age has not been given, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving.<\/p>\n
