People are being urged to look out for an elderly woman who was seen walking in Heywood in her nightwear.<\/p>\n

Greater Manchester Police<\/a> has issued an urgent appeal for help this morning (May 25), with a CCTV image released.<\/p>\n

The force says the woman was seen walking on Bury Street towards the town centre at 7.17am today in her nightwear and using a Zimmer frame.<\/p>\n

Her name and details have not been made public by GMP.<\/p>\n

Anyone who sees her or has information on her whereabouts is urged to come forward as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

A GMP Bury spokesperson said: “Can you help us locate the woman pictured?<\/p>\n

“At around 7.17am this morning (Sunday, May 25 2025), an elderly woman was seen walking along Bury<\/a> Street in Heywood<\/a> dressed in her nightwear, and using a Zimmer frame.<\/p>\n

“She was walking in the direction of Heywood town centre. Officers want to make sure she is safe and well.<\/p>\n

“If you have any information on where she is, please contact police on 101 quoting log 689 of May 25, 2025.”<\/p>\n
