London is a book-lover\u2019s paradise. Any one city would be blessed with such bookish treasures as Daunt Books Marylebone<\/a>, the South Bank Book Market<\/a> and Europe\u2019s biggest bookstore<\/a> \u2013 but London has all those and much, much more. There\u2019s a reason Time Out\u2019s list of the capital\u2019s top bookshops stretches all the way to 45<\/a> (and could\u00a0go even further).<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking for even more places to hunker down with a hardback, here\u2019s just the thing. Posh travel magazine Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveller<\/a> has just published its list of London\u2019s top bookshops \u2018to get lost in\u2019, selecting 15 stores specialising in everything from travel and cookery to amplifying LGBTQ+ voices.<\/p>\n

Of those 15 bookshops, 10 can be found in our Time Out list (Daunt Marylebone, Libreria, Kirkdale Bookshop, Books for Cooks, Stanfords, Gay\u2019s the World, Newham Bookshop, Brick Lane Books, The Broadway Bookshop and Word on the Water). So, what of the other five?\u00a0<\/p>\n

Burley Fisher in Haggerston got a nod for being the \u2018ultimate community bookshop\u2019, Soho\u2019s The Second Shelf was deemed \u2018a shrine to women writers and the rare-book trade\u2019 and diversity-focused children\u2019s bookshop Round Table Books in Brixton made the cut, too. Rounding out the five was Pages of Hackney \u2013 \u2018a firm favourite among authors\u2019 \u2013 and West End Lane Books, \u2018a place with as much heart as history\u2019.<\/p>\n
