Two police officers were rushed to hospital<\/a> after a major disturbance at a tower block in Glasgow<\/a>.<\/p>\n Emergency services were called to Kirkton Avenue in the Knightswood area of the city close to midnight on Friday, May 23.<\/p>\n The force has confirmed that three men, aged 24, 25 and 31, were arrested<\/a> and charged in connection with the incident, reports Glasgow Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n They will appear at Dumbarton, Airdrie and Glasgow Sheriff Courts<\/a> on Monday, May 26.<\/p>\n Two cops were taken to hospital as a precaution and later released.<\/p>\n Footage posted to TikTok shows a massive police<\/a> response with around 15 vehicles called to the high rise flats. It is believed officers had been responding to a panic call from colleagues at the scene.<\/p>\n A Police Scotland<\/a> spokesperson said: \u201cAround 11.50pm on Friday, 23 May, 2025, we were called to a report of a disturbance on Kirkton Avenue, Glasgow. Two police officers were taken to hospital as a precaution and later released.<\/p>\n \u201cThree men, aged 24, 25 and 31, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident<\/a>. They are due to appear in Dumbarton, Airdrie and Glasgow Sheriff Courts on Monday, 26 May, 2025.”<\/p>\n This comes after, in separate incident, we reported that a man has appeared in court after a woman and police were assaulted<\/a> in a Glasgow park.<\/p>\n On Thursday May 22, at around 5.50pm, emergency<\/a> crews raced to Queen’s Park in the south side of the city after receiving reports of an assault.<\/p>\n A 36-year-old woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment<\/a>.<\/p>\n A 46-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection. Alan Brown of Glasgow appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court <\/a>on Friday, May 23.<\/p>\n He faced a series of charges at the petition hearing, including assault<\/a> to injury. He was charged with assaulting police and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.<\/p>\n He was further charged with behaviour which would cause someone to suffer fear<\/a> or alarm.<\/p>\n Brown made no plea<\/a> and was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
