Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann believes Florian Wirtz\u2019s potential move to Liverpool would be a \u2018very good step\u2019 for the Bayer Leverkusen star.<\/p>\n

After initial green light from the player, Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen are in talks over transfer fee\/package. We exchanged a few messages.<\/p>\n \u201cI tried to give him tips to the best of my knowledge and belief, but I told him I can\u2019t make the decision for him because my opinion is not necessarily the right one. The final decision is his.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t rule out any club, I just tried to explain things to him and give him tips.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m excited to find out about his decision. We always hear that things are done. It was also said with Bayern before that it was done. Let\u2019s wait.\u201d<\/p>\n Nagelsmann insists that a move to Liverpool would be a \u201cvery good step\u201d, he added:\u00a0\u201cYou can look at it from different points of view. In the end, every player has to decide for himself.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not official, but if it\u2019s Liverpool, then it\u2019d be a very good step because he can play in his position, a great environment, great club.<\/p>\n \u201cBayern wouldn\u2019t have been a bad option either.
