Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/a> star CJ Emmons has revealed that he underwent vital surgery just weeks before his live performance.<\/p>\n The semi-finalist, who appeared on Saturday night\u2019s episode,<\/a> didn\u2019t manage to secure the all-important Golden Buzzer to make it through to the finals next week but fans are hoping he might get the coveted wildcard slot.<\/p>\n Regardless, the 42-year-old singer has certainly gone on an emotional journey after revealing live on stage that he had received serious surgery just weeks earlier.<\/p>\n \u2018Two weeks ago I was in the hospital receiving life-threatening surgery, and I fought for that, and I\u2019m fighting for this. But I can tell it\u2019s getting stronger and stronger.\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018I\u2019m here to fight. I\u2019m here to win,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n He returned to California ahead of the semis and rushed himself to hospital at the start of the month after experiencing severe abdominal pain.<\/p>\n \t\t After being told his gallbladder was \u2018completely dead\u2019 he discovered it was \u2018turning gangrene\u2019 and was about to \u2018explode and turn sepsis\u2019 which would have been fatal.<\/p>\n After being pumped full of antibiotics, he went into surgery on May 3 and has been recovering ever since. <\/p>\n It was not the only shocking moment from Saturday\u2019s semi-final. Magician Harry Moulding blew the judges, audience and fans away after incorporating a live proposal into the end of his set which secured him a place in the finals.<\/p>\n After an elaborate build-up, audience member Jess was called up to the stage where she watched a pre-recorded video from her boyfriend.<\/p>\n \t\t The boyfriend then appeared on stage with a wedding ring and said: \u2018I love you more than anything. Will you do me the honour. Will you marry me?\u2019 to which she offered a delighted yes.<\/p>\n The sweet stunt didn\u2019t impress everybody, however, with some viewers casting doubt on just how real the spectacle was.<\/p>\n Alongside Harry, the line-up for the Britain\u2019s Got Talent finale include The Blackouts, Vinnie McKee, Ping Pong Pang, Stacey Leadbeatter, Jasmine and Jasmine Rice among others for in the ultimate showdown.<\/p>\n This year the final will last two hours and 45 minutes.<\/p>\n The winner is vying for a spot at the annual Royal Variety Performance and a \u00a3250,000 cash prize.
