He also admitted one count of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) in relation to a man called Nathan Simpson.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Waugh denied a second count of conspiracy to cause GBH, in relation to a man called Joe Bradley. However, Alex Langhorn, prosecuting, told the court that &#8220;there is no public interest in seeking a trial on count nine&#8221; and it was ordered to lie on the file.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The indictment showed Waugh conspired with <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/liverpool-news\/i-just-want-face-melted-24236385\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Jonathan Gordon, a known &quot;Deli Mob&quot; gang memberLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Jonathan Gordon, a known &#8220;Deli Mob&#8221; gang member<\/a>, to cause harm to Mr Simpson, while also providing him with a handgun. The 37-year-old, of HMP Altcourse, was arraigned on many of <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/crime\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"the same charges and pleaded guilty to five counts of transferring prohibited weapons, two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon and conspiracy to cause GBHLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">the same charges and pleaded guilty to five counts of transferring prohibited weapons, two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon and conspiracy to cause GBH<\/a> to Mr Simpson.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">All of the offences that Waugh, represented by Oliver Cook KC, and Brazendale, represented by Ian McMeekin, pleaded guilty to took place between January 2019 and July 2020. Brazendale, who wore a blue Nike top and sported dark, curly hair was supported by three members of his family. Waugh, who has a previous conviction for domestic abuse of a partner, was not supported in court.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">NCA officers launched a probe in 2020 when officers discovered a then unidentified British crime boss was advertising a list of military grade weapons to UK crime groups. The information was discovered in Operation Venetic \u2013 the NCA-led response to the takedown of EncroChat by European partners.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Intelligence revealed the crime boss was overseas and NCA officers carried out a raid with Spanish National Police at a villa Waugh rented in Benahavis, Malaga. He was extradited last month and remanded to custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A spokesperson told the ECHO Waugh and his right hand man Brazendale took possession of the weapons and provided them to customers from various crime groups. He supplied an array of terrifying automatic and semi-automatic weaponry to offenders who were planning horrific crimes. He didn\u2019t care at all about who might be killed in the process, he only cared about money.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;He is an extremely dangerous offender. Waugh said &#8220;f***ed that acid&#8221; and Gordon replied &#8220;proper one that bro&#8221;. Gordon also boasted to Waugh about his involvement in a series of shootings, including one message which said &#8220;let off a clip in the street&#8221;.
