{"id":131272,"date":"2025-05-25T18:14:17","date_gmt":"2025-05-25T18:14:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/131272\/"},"modified":"2025-05-25T18:14:17","modified_gmt":"2025-05-25T18:14:17","slug":"family-adventure-park-suffers-power-cut-as-hundreds-of-bristol-properties-affected","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/131272\/","title":{"rendered":"Family adventure park suffers power cut as hundreds of Bristol properties affected"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Visitors to Avon Valley Adventure Park have been offered a free return visit following the incident<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/500010139_1287230670114710_430806125787401827_n.jpg\" alt=\"Power cut at Avon Valley Adventure Park, Keynsham\" loading=\"eager\"  \/>Power cut at Avon Valley Adventure Park, Keynsham(Image: Facebook\/Avon Valley Adventure Park)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A family adventure park near Bristol has suffered a power outage following an earlier power cut that affected almost 450 Bristol properties.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The incident was reported to National Grid shortly after 11.15am this morning (May 25), with a total of 445 properties in the Almondsbury area left without power in the BS32 and BS35 postcode zones.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The earlier incident appears to have been resolved early on Sunday afternoon &#8211; however, Avon Valley Adventure Park in Keynsham has since shared on <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/facebook\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a> that it is suffering its own power outage, with National Grid called to the site.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Posting at 1.30pm on Sunday, the family venue wrote: &#8220;We&#8217;re experiencing an unexpected power issue at Avon Valley Adventure Park today. Our team is working diligently to maintain as many shows and activities as possible despite these limitations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;National Grid has been contacted and will be on-site at 2:00 PM to investigate. This situation is unfortunately beyond our control. Our team is focused on ensuring everyone still has an enjoyable visit.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The post went on to offer visitors a free return visit to the park by way of compensation, continuing: &#8220;As a thank you for your patience and understanding, all guests visiting today will automatically receive a FREE RETURN VISIT that can be used anytime during the remainder of May half term.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;A voucher will be emailed automatically to the email address used for your original booking &#8211; no action required on your part.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience, and want to assure you we&#8217;re doing everything possible to keep the park fun and enjoyable despite these challenges. If you have any questions, please don&#8217;t hesitate to speak with any of our team members on-site.
