London lettings and estate agent, <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benhams.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Benham and Reeves<\/a> analysed sale stock levels across 28 areas in the capital&#8217;s <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" title=\"The beautiful commuter town with UK\u2019s most expensive street outside London\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/uk\/1889050\/beautiful-commuter-town-uk-most-expensive-street\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">affluent areas<\/a> to find out what proportions of properties entering the market over the last 30 days hit a price tag of \u00a31 million and above.<\/p>\n<p>Nearly half (43%) of the 4,708 houses that have been listed across the prime London market within the last month cost \u00a31 million or more, according to the findings. However, their research also revealed a specific neighbourhood where the proportion of million pound <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" title=\"Property\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/property\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">properties<\/a> surges right up to 93%, making it the area which has seen the biggest influx of homes costing from \u00a31 million and above.<\/p>\n<p><a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" title=\"The &#039;best&#039; pub in London is named \u2014 it was once owned by Madonna and Guy Ritchie\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/travel\/uk\/2053784\/madonna-pub-london-guy-ritchie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mayfair<\/a>, an area renowned for its luxury and exclusivity, is home to where the property market is seeing more homes hit those huge prices.<\/p>\n<p>The affluent region boats high-end shopping experiences, upscale dining, and remarkable hotels, as well as a sophisticated and private social scene &#8211; plenty of features that would draw in wealthy buyers.<\/p>\n<p>However, the West End neighbourhood is not the only with a vast number of expensive houses.<\/p>\n<p>Just under two miles away, in Knightsbridge, 90% of the houses listed in the last month have an asking price of over \u00a31 million. Barnes, Belgravia, and Fitzrovia also rank highly, all with over 70% of homes listed at the high price.<\/p>\n<p>Marc von Grundheer, director of Benham and Reeves, said: &#8220;The high end London market may have been more muted with respect to the rate of property price appreciation being seen.
