The design was partly inspired by high society women of the 18th century, while the A-line shape of the skirt was folded and draped to be reminiscent of ancient Greek statues.<\/p>\n<p>Photo: Courtesy of Demi Lovato<\/p>\n<p>The design process with the Westwood team was very hands on, Demi notes. The first session was all about mixing and matching top and skirt options. From there, the team made the vision come to a reality with detailed fittings, honing in on each element of not only the design, but the construction. Demi was part of every decision, large and small. \u201cI love everything about the dress,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n<p>For the reception, Demi changed into an ivory silk satin column dress with a draped corset top, also by Vivienne Westwood. The dress featured broken pearls cascading from the neckline.
