The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 26 May, 2025.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We told how the hospital atrium was closed down as worried staff alerted cops.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic around the busy medical campus was also diverted as police dealt with the incident.<\/p>\n<p>No one was injured.<\/p>\n<p>NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde praised the hospital&#8217;s security team for their swift response.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for the health board said: &#8220;We can confirm we supported police with an incident in the atrium of the QEUH this morning.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The atrium was closed for a short time while this was dealt with, and traffic around the hospital was temporarily diverted.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There was no disruption to any of our services and the hospital is now open as normal.<\/p>\n<p>Moment fuming motorist loses the plot in GTA road rage smash<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We would like to thank our security teams for their handling of this incident before officers arrived.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A MAN has been charged after allegedly entering a hospital armed with a crossbow.
