Martin Kemp<\/a> left the Loose Women<\/a> panel speechless after making a shock confession about his sex life with wife Shirlie Holliman during a live TV appearance. The 63-year-old appeared on a special edition of the ITV<\/a> daytime show \u2014 a Loose Women and Loose Men mash-up \u2014 alongside Kaye Adams, Paul C Brunson, and Judi Love, where the topic of scheduling intimacy with a partner came up. While dating expert and Celebs Go Dating star Paul argued that it was a good idea, Martin wasn\u2019t convinced.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don’t think you can schedule sex,\u201d Martin declared, prompting stunned laughter from the audience and the panel. \u201cIf I had to look in my diary and it says 7:30pm on a Thursday night, I’m going to do it\u2026 I don’t think it works. I even feel under pressure if it’s a Sunday morning!\u201d As the studio erupted into giggles, Martin doubled down: \u201cOh so everyone in here does it on a Sunday morning? I know. But I do! I feel that pressure… \u2018Oh it’s Sunday morning, I’m going to have to do it in a minute.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul tried to shift the focus by explaining that couples only spend an average of an hour together per week.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I’m saying is you can schedule a time where you are just going to eat together. You don’t have to say sex.\u201d Martin responded, \u201cSo you’re talking a date night?\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul continued: \u201cIt could be a date night, we’re going to have some wine, we’re going to watch something. And then who knows what will happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Host Kaye Adams later asked Martin if he\u2019d be trying the suggestion, to which he cheekily replied: \u201cI will definitely give it a try. I’ll give Shirl a call in a minute,\u201d before glancing at his watch and joking, \u201cI’ll book it in… Hang on, this is going out live isn’t it?\u201d<\/p>\n

Looking straight at the camera, Martin finished with: \u201cShirl, get yourself ready, I’m on the way home.\u201d<\/p>\n

Martin and Shirlie met in 1982 after he spotted her performing with Wham! on Top of the Pops. The couple tied the knot in St. Lucia in 1988 and share two children, daughter Harley Moon, 35, and son Roman Kemp, 32.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not the first time Martin has raised eyebrows when discussing his marriage. Earlier this year, on the podcast FFS! My dad is Martin Kemp, the Spandau Ballet star stunned Roman by saying: \u201cShirlie gives me some good tongue lashings… you know exactly what I mean when I say tongue lashings…<\/p>\n

“She’s good at it, she’s good at the old tongue lashing, she will know when and how to put me down.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roman didn\u2019t hold back, exclaiming: \u201cWhat the actual f*** does that mean? That is horrendous, that’s the worst thing you’ve ever said. I can see the headline now, that is horrendous.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the awkward exchange, the father-son duo ended the conversation laughing, with Martin saying: \u201cI love coming in here and talking to you.<\/p>\n

“When I’m out and about even with my mates.
