And not from the Americans either,\u201d Merz said, speaking at a <a href=\"https:\/\/europaforum.wdr.de\/forum-2025\/livestream\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">forum<\/a> hosted by the public broadcaster WDR.<\/p>\n<p class=\"SimpleBlock-module_p__7aRnT \">The chancellor also said that Germany would \u201cdo everything it can\u201d to continue supporting Ukraine.
