The talent of Cunha is clear, as shown by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sofascore.com\/player\/matheus-cunha\/886363?utm_source=unitedinfocus.com&amp;utm_medium=FootballPlayerCard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">SofaScore<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"749\" height=\"1024\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Cunha_United-749x1024.jpg\" alt=\"An infographic showing Matheus Cunha's 2024-25 season stats.\" class=\"wp-image-273685\" \/>Matheus Cunha infographic \u2013 SofaScore<\/p>\n<p>It is thought that the Red Devils are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/transfer-news\/who-liam-delap-would-rather-sign-for-between-manchester-united-and-chelsea-revealed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">favourites to sign Liam Delap<\/a> but await his final decision with Chelsea thought to be the second club in the running.<\/p>\n<p>However, of all the potential signings that could be made this summer, there is one which stands out and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/tag\/gary-neville\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gary Neville<\/a> agrees.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/GettyImages-2212824297-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Photo by Charlotte Wilson\/Offside\/Offside via Getty Images\" \/>Photo by Charlotte Wilson\/Offside\/Offside via Getty ImagesManchester United\u2019s interest in Bryan Mbeumo<\/p>\n<p>In a potential complete overhaul of the frontline, Amorim could also welcome Brentford\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/tag\/bryan-mbeumo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> to his squad this summer if recent reports are true.<\/p>\n<p>It is claimed that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/transfer-news\/manchester-united-plot-bryan-mbeumo-transfer-as-alejandro-garnacho-sale-could-unlock-move-for-brentford-goalscorer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mbeumo is considered the replacement for Alejandro Garnacho<\/a>, a move that would be a cataclysmic improvement on the Argentine and almost certainly hand United one of the league\u2019s best attacks.<\/p>\n<p>Mbeumo has had a brilliant season for Brentford, earning himself team of the season shouts, which Neville agreed with.<\/p>\n<p>Gary Neville named Mbeumo in his Premier League team of the season<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on Sky Sports last week, Neville was tasked with creating his team of the season and in the left wing position he chose Mbeumo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just went for stats,\u201d Neville admitted. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think he has the third most goal involvements, and I think what Brentford do is they go a little bit unsung, not everyone respects what they do. They don\u2019t get the mentions of a Bournemouth, Forest, Brighton\u2026 what Brentford are doing is special, Wissa and Mbeumo are fantastic, and they\u2019re lit us up over the past few years, and they always deliver.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat Mbeumo has done this season is special, I think he\u2019s fantastic and someone I would love to have in my team, I\u2019ve gone for him on numbers.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>How many league goals did Bryan Mbeumo score in 2024-25?<\/p>\n<p>During the 2024-25 campaign for Brentford, Mbeumo scored a whopping 20 goals and seven assists.
