Tommy Robinson<\/a> has walked out of prison dressed in a MEGA hat and with a new look. <\/p>\n

The right-wing activist, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was released from prison today after a High Court<\/a> appeal to reduce his prison sentence. <\/p>\n

Robinson was jailed for 18 months after breaching a court injunction<\/a> over allegations against a Syrian refugee. <\/p>\n

Now the 42-year-old has been freed from HMP Woodhill in Milton Keynes. <\/p>\n

He donned a remarkably different look with a long beard, hair and a rosary necklace. <\/p>\n

Robinson carried a red cap emblazoned with the letters MEGA, meaning Make England Great Again \u2013 a rip-off of the American MAGA slogan adopted by the US right-wing and Donald Trump<\/a> supporters.<\/p>\n

He was pictured micced-up straight after he walked out of the prison doors as he went in front of a camera. <\/p>\n

In a video posted on X, he ranted against his sentence, the media, police and shared details of his time behind bars. <\/p>\n

A known anti-Islam activist, Robinson repeated inflammatory accusations just moments after being out from prison.<\/p>\n

In a 27-minute non-stop video, he said his family had received \u2018death threats and serious threats of harm against them\u2019 following media reports of Robinson\u2019s alleged activities.<\/p>\n

He said he wants to \u2018thank Elon Musk.\u2019 <\/p>\n

Musk, the world\u2019s richest man and the owner of X, has previously expressed his support for Robinson and urged for his release<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Robinson was originally due to be released on July 26, but the judge was satisfied with \u2018assurance that he will comply with the injunction in the future\u2019 barring him from repeating the allegations against a Syrian teenager.<\/p>\n

The Syrian refugee targeted by Robinson successfully sued him for libel over the claims, leading to an injunction in 2021. <\/p>\n

Before his release, the former English Defence League leader was required to take steps to reduce his time in custody, including removing all social media posts repeating the claims. <\/p>\n

Robinson is facing two separate court cases and he is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates\u2019 Court on June 5, accused of harassing two journalists. <\/p>\n

In October, he faces a trial over accusations that he failed to provide his mobile phone PIN code when stopped by Kent Police in Folkestone in July 2024. <\/p>\n
