A street fight in Bristol city centre<\/a> may have left a young man injured and in need of medical help.<\/p>\n At around 11pm yesterday, Monday, May 26, officers were called to Charles Street, near the Bristol Royal Infirmary and the Bearpit.<\/p>\n Police were responding to a third-party report of a disturbance in the road involving two men.<\/p>\n The caller said one of the men seemed to have been hurt and may need medical assistance.<\/p>\n When Avon and Somerset Police<\/a> arrived, the two men had left the scene.<\/p>\n Police searched the surrounding streets but found no sign of either of the two men.<\/p>\n Officers are keen to check on the safety and welfare of the person who may be injured.<\/p>\n Despite checking the local hospitals<\/a>, the police have been unable to identify the person.<\/p>\n He is described as being in his 20s and between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins tall.<\/p>\n He was wearing a hat, baggy trousers and a coat described as “huge”.<\/p>\n Avon and Somerset Police said: “If you were in the Charles Street area and have any relevant information or dashcam footage, we\u2019d like to hear from you.<\/p>\n “If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5225146925, or complete our online appeals form<\/a>.<\/p>\n
