The King, who is currently on a state visit to Canada, was joined in expressing his sympathies by the Prince and Princess of Wales.<\/p>\n
Prince William, who is patron of the Football Association, and his wife Kate posted a personal message on social media, saying: \u201cWe are deeply saddened by the scenes in Liverpool yesterday. What should have been a joyful celebration ended with tragedy.<\/p>\n
