The Google Pixel Watch 2 is the sequel to Google’s first self-branded smartwatch. The second generation doesn’t reinvent the wheel, instead offering a handful of low-key improvements like a redesigned digital crown, Wear OS 4 out of the box, and a newer chipset that should offer better performance and battery life.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For a good while, the Pixel Watch 2 was easily one of our favorite smartwatches ever made<\/a>, but it was eventually replaced with the Pixel Watch 3, which is also a banger. But this doesn’t mean the Pixel Watch 2 isn’t worthwhile in 2025. As a matter of fact, it’s still one of the better Wear OS devices out there, which is precisely why our review gave the device an 8 out of 10, it’s rocking Wear OS 5.1, having launched with 4, which means it’s still very much supported by the latest and greatest from Google.<\/p>\n

The Google Pixel Watch 2 takes everything that was great about the original and polishes things to a sheen. This means you can expect the battery to last over 24 hours, ensuring you get a full day on a single charge. But this also means you get the Pixel Watch’s familiar rounded look, which looks oh so great with any band. With a single crown, it’s a minimal-looking device, and thanks to things like the built-in heart rate tracker, you can use the Fitbit app to track your activities to ensure your health and stress levels don’t get out of whack.<\/p>\n

One of our chief complaints when we reviewed the Pixel Watch 2<\/a> was the price, which was $350. Well, things are much better a year and a half later, when the typical retail price is now $249. Thanks to today’s limited-time Amazon deal, you can snag the smartwatch for an incredibly low $150, which is the lowest price we’ve ever seen for the watch.
