A flight departing from Glasgow to Dalaman in Turkey on Tuesday afternoon was diverted to Edinburgh Airport <\/a>due to unforeseen operational reasons’.<\/p>\n

According to Flight Radar, Jet2 flight LS195 departed from Glasgow International Airport late at 3:57pm on Tuesday, May 27 and could be seen going south towards Dumfries before turning to the east towards Northumberland National Park.<\/p>\n

The airplane then turned around and headed back up north before it began circling around Peebles. The aircraft then landed at Edinburgh Airport<\/a> at approximately 4:20pm.<\/p>\n

Exact reasons as to why the flight was diverted are unknown. Jet2 has however, shared that the flight has now been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 28.<\/p>\n

Sharing the details on their website, they wrote: “Unfortunately, your flight has been delayed until tomorrow, due to unforeseen operational reasons. We\u2019re making every effort to get you underway as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

“As this means you won\u2019t be flying until tomorrow, we are providing coach transportation back to Glasgow Airport.<\/p>\n

“It’s rare for our schedules to be disrupted like this. Our dedicated Operations teams are working hard behind the scenes at our UK-based HQ, and on behalf of us all, we’re sorry again for the inconvenience this delay brings. We’ll have you on your way as soon as we can.”<\/p>\n

The flight is now scheduled to depart from Glasgow at 10am on Wednesday, May 28, arriving in Dalaman at 4:07pm.<\/p>\n
