Every year, thousands of Brits jet off to sunnier climes with Jet2<\/a>, Britain’s third biggest airline, looking forward to their annual getaway. As summer approaches, the company is sprucing up for the season, ensuring holidaymakers <\/a>are clued-up before they hit the runway.<\/p>\n

Hotspots like France, Portugal, Spain<\/a>, and Turkey beguile UK tourists<\/a>, and Jet2 stays on top of each country’s travel dos and don’ts, constantly refreshing advice for their customers.<\/p>\n

Their website advises: “Before travelling to your destination, please check the latest entry requirements as they may differ depending on your: destination, nationality, and your travel document type. For all the latest information, please visit the FCDO website.”<\/p>\n

Here’s a rundown of the most recent travel guidelines for France, Greece<\/a>, Portugal, Spain and Turkey, as reported by the Liverpool Echo<\/a>. If you’re planning to go to any of these destinations, you might want to keep reading!<\/p>\n

Those flying to France won’t find any extra Foreign Office guidance or hoops to jump through, according to the latest data. Jet2 reveals on its site: “Without a visa, entry is permitted for a maximum stay of 90 days in a 180-day period.”<\/p>\n

Greece<\/p>\n

Holiday-goers eager for Greek sunshine can relax knowing there aren’t additional Foreign Office directives they need to worry about. As per Jet2: “Without a visa, entry is permitted for a maximum stay of 90 days in a 180-day period.”<\/p>\n

Portugal<\/p>\n

If you’re Portugal-bound, the word from Jet2 is: “Without a visa, entry is permitted for a maximum stay of 90 days in a 180-day period.”<\/p>\n

Young globetrotters under 18 venturing to Portugal without their folks need to carry an authorisation letter\u2014a must-have stipulated by new travel guidelines from the Foreign Office. The site explained: “This letter must be signed by the parent or legal guardian and, in some circumstances, may need to be legally certified.”<\/p>\n

“You can download the form here and you’ll be asked to show your completed form at the airport. For more information, please visit the Portuguese government website.”<\/p>\n
