Pricing proposals for next season will be presented at a meeting of the fan advisory board (FAB) on Wednesday evening, the final stage of a consultation process which began in February.<\/p>\n
Villa, who have increased the cost of season tickets significantly over the past three seasons, are one of only four Premier League clubs still to announce prices for the 2025-26 campaign.<\/p>\n
Several groups, including the Villa Supporters\u2019 Trust, have urged the club to follow the lead of several top-flight rivals by freezing prices.<\/p>\n
A statement released in February described such a move as \u201ccrucial for the long-term spirit of the club\u201d.<\/p>\n
The subsequent delay in confirming prices now has fans fearing a further rise after supporters in hospitality areas reported an increase of around five per cent during their renewal window last month. A change to the way away match tickets are sold is also expected.<\/p>\n
Villa\u2019s pricing strategy for this season\u2019s Champions League matches was the subject of fierce criticism after supporters were charged up to \u00a397 to attend.<\/p>\n
The club defended the prices, claiming they were necessary to help boost revenues and help comply with the Premier League\u2019s profit and sustainability rules.<\/p>\n
Those same revenues have now been damaged by Villa\u2019s failure to qualify for next season\u2019s Champions League competition.<\/p>\n
President of business operations, Chris Heck, who bore the brunt of criticism over ticket prices, formally leaves his role after two years on Friday.<\/p>\n
