Emma, 29<\/a>, Diana in series four of Netflix\u2019s royal drama, and Paul were at jeweller Cartier\u2019s London do.<\/p>\n

Paul<\/a>, also 29 and said to be in the running to play James Bond<\/a>, looked suitably dapper in a black tux.<\/p>\n

Fellow screen stars Ellie Bamber<\/a>, in a risque see-through number, and Marisa Abela<\/a> were also there.<\/p>\n

Emma is being lined up to play Keira Knightley\u2019s role in Pride And Prejudice.<\/p>\n

The Crown<\/a> actor is the favourite of script writer Dolly Alderton to portray Elizabeth Bennet in an upcoming adaptation of Jane Austen\u2019s 1813 novel.<\/p>\n

A script for the series, which is in early development at\u00a0Netflix<\/a>, is being written by\u00a0Everything I Know About Love<\/a>\u00a0author Dolly.<\/p>\n

Keira, 39,<\/a>\u00a0played the lead role in the 2005 big screen version.<\/p>\n

A source said: \u201cDolly is working on a Pride And Prejudice script for Netflix and thinks Emma would be perfect to play Elizabeth.<\/p>\n

“Dolly is also very progressive and forward-thinking, so thinks that having a non-binary star in the role would be a brilliant move.\u201d<\/p>\n

Emma came out as non-binary in 2021, saying they felt \u201cmore seen\u201d when referred to as \u201cthey.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last year,\u00a0Emma<\/a>\u00a0said: \u201cIt\u2019s not a rejection of femininity or masculinity, it\u2019s sort of an embrace of both.<\/p>\n
