Pink Floyd<\/a> has shared a video of their \u2018One Of These Days\u2019 performance from the upcoming Pompeii \u2013 MCMLXXII concert film, which is set to be released worldwide later this month.<\/p>\n

The new 4K restoration of the classic 1972 film Pink Floyd At Pompeii MCMLXXII \u2013 which uses the original 35mm footage with audio newly mixed by Steven Wilson \u2013 is set debut in cinemas worldwide from April 24. Tickets are on sale now \u2013 find yours here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, a clip of the iconic performance of \u2018One Of These Days\u2019 has been revealed. It features footage from the 4K restoration \u2013 giving audiences the most crystal-clear glimpse into the band\u2019s historic performance in the ruins of the ancient Roman Amphitheatre in Pompeii, Italy.<\/p>\n

\u2018One Of These Days\u2019 is the opening track from Pink Floyd\u2019s 1971 album \u2018Meddle\u2019, and was written by David Gilmour<\/a>, Roger Waters<\/a>, Richard Wright and Nick Mason. Watch the clip below.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The original film was directed by Adrian Maben and it sees the legendary band performing in the amphitheatre in October 1971, with no audience in attendance beyond the basic film crew. It features the band playing a range of music from their career up to that point, including \u2018Echoes\u2019 and \u2018Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun\u2019.<\/p>\n

It will also include rare behind-the-scenes footage of the band beginning work on The Dark Side of the Moon at Abbey Road Studios. The cinema release is to be accompanied by a live album, released by Legacy Recordings on May 2.<\/p>\n

Floyd drummer Nick Mason has said: \u201cPink Floyd: Live At Pompeii\u00a0is a rare and unique document of the band performing live in the period prior to \u2018The Dark Side Of The Moon\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

In other Pink Floyd news,\u00a0a judge recently made a ruling in the ongoing case between bassist Roger Waters and investigative journalist John Ware<\/a>.
