Everton are considering a move for Sheffield United playmaker Gustavo Hamer, who could be on the move after the Blades missed out on promotion to the Premier League.<\/p>\n
The 27-year-old has featured as an attacking midfielder and as a left-winger for Sheff Utd this season, two areas Everton are looking to strengthen in.<\/p>\n
Hamer played a key role in Sheff Utd\u2019s<\/a> impressive campaign that saw them narrowly miss out on automatic promotion and lose the Championship play-off final, notching 10 goals and eight assists.<\/p>\n TEAMtalk revealed on April 30 that Everton hold an interest in Hamer<\/a> and could now intensify their pursuit in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n The Toffees have confirmed that Abdoulaye Doucoure will leave this summer. They are working on a deal to sign Flamengo loanee Charly Alcaraz permanently<\/a>, who is viewed as Doucoure\u2019s replacement, but signing Hamer as well could be possible.<\/p>\n However, Everton will face competition for Hamer.
