A young girl remains in a critical condition in hospital after a crash on a Scots road.<\/p>\n

The eight-year-old had to be helicoptered to hospital in Glasgow following the accident at Monreith in Dumfries and Galloway<\/a> on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n

Emergency services rushed to the scene following the collision between a car and two pedestrians, with the road closed for around eight hours.<\/p>\n

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: \u201cWe dispatched one ambulance, an air ambulance, a GP and our trauma team to the scene.<\/p>\n
