6<\/p>\n The real reason behind Ekin-Su C\u00fclc\u00fclo\u011flu’s split with Curtis Pritchard has been revealedCredit: Getty 6<\/p>\n The Sun can exclusively reveal the break-up is ‘raw’ for both partiesCredit: Instagram 6<\/p>\n Yet Ekin-Su’s increasing work commitments Stateside played a partCredit: Instagram<\/p>\n As such, the split is said to be “raw” for both parties who discovered they were “growing apart” – with work opportunities proving a key divide.<\/p>\n A source close to the former couple has now told The Sun of the break-up: \u201cIt was very much a mutual decision, but it happened very recently in the last few days. <\/p>\n “It certainly wasn’t weeks in the making, so it’s still raw for them both but they had a series of crisis talks in the recent days which were emotional for them both.<\/p>\n “They wanted to make it work, but they felt they like they were growing apart and they couldn’t see a way forward. <\/p>\n “One of the biggest issues for their relationship was their busy careers – it sounds like a cliche but Ekin<\/a>, 30, is getting a lot of work opportunities out in America, while Curtis<\/a>, 29, is focussing on his burgeoning boxing career as well as his new investment app. <\/p>\n “As they are both so busy, it was becoming harder to prioritise the relationship and they realised that wasn’t a good sign. <\/p>\n “They are still on really good terms and it’s all very amicable. <\/p>\n “Nobody was blindsided, so there is no bad blood between them.”<\/p>\n The finalists of the hit reality-dating spin-off had\u00a0sparked concern they’d broken up<\/a>\u00a0earlier this month.<\/p>\n EKIN-SU’S STATEMENT<\/p>\n Today, Ekin-Su shared a statement on social media confirming they had parted ways.<\/p>\n She said: “I wanted to share that Curtis and I have decided to go our separate ways.<\/p>\n “It’s been a really tough decision, but one made with a lot of love and respect for one another.<\/p>\n “He’s an incredible person and I’ll always cherish the memories we made both in and out of the villa.<\/p>\n “Thank you all so much for the love and support over the past few months.<\/p>\n ISLE SAY! Breakups are never easy, but I\u2019ll always be grateful for the laughs, the adventures, and the memories (especially the dance routines).<\/p>\n He continued: “She\u2019s an amazing woman and I\u2019ve got nothing but love and respect for her.”<\/p>\n The statement concluded: “I\u2019ll be keeping busy with work, boxing, dancing, and working with the team on FINT.
