{"id":139049,"date":"2025-05-28T15:43:09","date_gmt":"2025-05-28T15:43:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/139049\/"},"modified":"2025-05-28T15:43:09","modified_gmt":"2025-05-28T15:43:09","slug":"keanu-reeves-is-an-angel-in-aziz-ansari-comedy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/139049\/","title":{"rendered":"Keanu Reeves Is An Angel In Aziz Ansari Comedy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/lionsgate\/\" id=\"auto-tag_lionsgate\" data-tag=\"lionsgate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lionsgate<\/a> has dropped the first trailer for <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/good-fortune\/\" id=\"auto-tag_good-fortune\" data-tag=\"good-fortune\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Good Fortune<\/a>, its new high-concept comedy starring <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/keanu-reeves\/\" id=\"auto-tag_keanu-reeves\" data-tag=\"keanu-reeves\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Keanu Reeves<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/seth-rogen\/\" id=\"auto-tag_seth-rogen\" data-tag=\"seth-rogen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Seth Rogen<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/aziz-ansari\/\" id=\"auto-tag_aziz-ansari\" data-tag=\"aziz-ansari\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aziz Ansari<\/a>, which marks the feature debut of the latter, as writer-director.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tSlated for release in theaters on October 17, Good Fortune introduces Reeves as Gabriel, a well-meaning but rather inept angel who decides to intervene in the lives of a struggling gig worker (Ansari) and a wealthy venture capitalist (Rogen).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWhen the trailer opens, Gabriel is on a rooftop overlooking Los Angeles, speaking with another angel named Martha (Sandra Oh).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cMartha, is there any way I can have more meaningful duties?\u201d Gabriel asks. \u201cI want to guide people; I want to change their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tMartha tells him that \u201cto save a lost soul, you have to find a lost soul.\u201d But for Gabriel, this doesn\u2019t take long. He discovers one in Ansari\u2019s character, while standing one night atop an L.A.
