This Hollywood star who is worth $200M rose to fame 50 years ago.<\/p>\n

He and his bandmates became known for their distinctive style, which included eye-popping stage makeup and long hair.<\/p>\n

The New York native is a father-of-four and has been married twice – his first wife was a movie star.<\/p>\n

In 2014 he published an autobiography about his life on and off the stage with help from late journalist Tim Mohr.<\/p>\n

This week he was spotted out in Los Angeles<\/a>, casually dressed as he enjoyed a coffee al fresco.<\/p>\n

The longtime, renowned music artist is 73-year-old Paul Stanley of the band KISS.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday he was clad in a black T-shirt and jeans designed with splatters of multicolored paint.<\/p>\n

The iconic music artist rounded out his look with a pair of gray and white sneakers with peach-colored laces.<\/p>\n

His graying locks fell around his face as he busied himself with his phone while sipping on an iced coffee.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And his face was free of the\u00a0kabuki-style face paint that helped make him and his band famous.<\/p>\n

Stanley shares son Colin, 18, and daughters Sarah, 16, and Emily, 13, with longtime wife Erin Sutton.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He is also dad to son Evan, 31 in June, from his previous marriage to actress Pamela Bowen.<\/p>\n

When KISS rose to prominence in the 1970s, they stood out with their theatrical stage presence.<\/p>\n

Paul shared a reflective post with his 640,000 followers on Instagram in March<\/p>\n

Their theatrical makeup and larger-than-life personas set them apart from the era\u2019s other glam and hard rock acts.<\/p>\n

Co-founder Gene Simmons became The Demon, Stanley transformed into Starchild, Ace Frehley was Spaceman, and Peter Criss’ alter ego was Catman.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘At the same time that we were forming in New York, there was a very big glitter scene, where boys were basically acting like girls and putting on makeup,’ Simmons recalled in a 1996 interview with Porkchops & Applesauce, per Far Out<\/a>.<\/p>\n

‘Well, we were more like football players \u2014 all of us were over 6′ tall \u2014 and it just wasn’t convincing!’ he explained.<\/p>\n

The band celebrated a milestone in 2014 when they earned a coveted spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.\u00a0<\/p>\n
